As Microsoft says, 'Svchost.exe is a generic name of the process used by the services performed by the DLL (Dynamic Link Libraries)'. When Windows starts, check all the services contained in the registry and builds a list of those that must be loaded. The real svchost.exe file is located in the C: \\ Windows \\ System32, but many viruses and Trojans use the same process name and file to hide their activities.
Svchost Process Analyzer is a small free tool that creates a list of all instances of Svchost and check out the services they contain. This is molto facile individuare i worms (come il tristemente famoso worm Conficker).
