How to format a USB stick to NTFS

As you know the format NTFS file system is the owner of Windows XP / Vista / 2003 / 2000 & NT with high performance, it supports security policies at the file level, compression and auditing. It also supports large volumes and advanced storage solutions such as RAID.

The most important feature of the NTFS format is to allow encrypt files and folders protégé for their most sensitive data.

To enable your USB stick to support the NTFS format you must follow these simple steps:

1. Click the right mouse button on "My Computer " and select "Manage "

2. Click on "Disk Management " under store and find your USB stick between the volumes listed on the right side of the window

3. Click the right mouse button on your USB stick and select Properties

4. Selected Hardware and then click the Properties button

5. Under Policy Select Switch Optimize Performance and click OK

6. Now open My Computer and from the context menu of Format your pendrive selected

7. Select NTFS in the drop-down list the type of File System

8. The NTFS format is complete!
